2 litres of good cider. Breton is my favourite
2 tsp of cinnamon
1 vanilla pod or use extract. Never use essence
2 clementines, 1 juiced, one cut into quarters
2 tbls of brown sugar
Pour the cider into a medium sized pan and warm through for a few minutes on a low heat. Add the juice and clementine quarters then the spices, keep on a low heat and let the spices infuse for around 10 minutes. Pour into your prettiest glasses and add a twist of clementine. If you have cinnamon sticks you could also add one each to the glasses too.
I am planning on making some spiced cider cocktails at Christmas time, my mother has some gorgeous metallic moroccan tea glasses that I think will jazz this drink up a bit!
